The Project
Groups Involved

We found Pilsbury so fascinating that we wanted to share our enthusiasm for the site and in fact a wide range of local people became involved in the project researching the castle and the extraordinary changing landscape of the Upper Dove Valley. As the project developed we were joined by pupils and teachers from five local schools, local history groups, a voluntary archaeological group, an amateur dramatic group, two living history groups and a trackways research group, plus many other individuals with a specific interest in the site.
